OK so we see a lot of CAWs that are inspired by wrestlers I can name a few that I know the inspirations Haven with Edge, Hades with Undertaker (Darkness and American Badass eras) Of my own of course MG/Zack remembers Logan Steel was HHH inspired, Cal Crossfire had a lot of Edge to his look in late 2008. Lauren had Stephanie McMahon elements to her, bosses daughter etc. Candice Romero as a Vader/Mark Henry female monster (most other big females are purely for comedy.) It seems that most take popular wrestlers and build an inspired CAW from them, of course the comparisions or inspiration isn't always clear to others but there are a few wrestlers I wonder why people don't take inspiration from. For Example Sycho Sid or Sid Vicious, this one to me is shocking is no Shawn Michaels inspired CAWs (Sorry Llama had to say it) if there is one out there feel free to enlighten me guys Vader inspired males or even that build of male CAWs just wondering if you guys ever thought about stuff like this.

All the time. That is, I think about this all the time. My caw, "Beastin" Marcus Easton for example is based on Brock Lesnar. He even uses the F5 as his finisher. Another of mines, Mr. Immortal (never showcased) is a direct inspiration of Sting. I thought of making a Shawn Michaels type, but felt it to be kinda tough to come up with someone like him, with the chaps and all lol

I've got a Shawn Michaels inspired CAW. lol Well, it's more of an old-school HBK era Shawn Michaels combined with Johnny Nitro/Morrison. That would be Orazio Marcello. He didn't start out taking inspiration from them, but he's evolved into a mixture of those two. Even went as far as stealing the design for HBK's old tights on an 08 attire before he wore pants. lol
Then you've got my crown jewel of my madhouse, 187. There's a million different things that go into the evolution of his character. But if we're talking about taking inspiration from wrestlers, I'd have to say Stone Cold and New Jack are a big part of how I look at 187. He's just a straight up rebel with a lack of respect for authority. And he'll say what he wants, about who he wants, and how he wants to say it.
I've got Young Felony who's a direct inspiration from Kevin Nash. Even try to emulate the same kind of attire set up that Nash usually wears in the ring. Plus, Felony is a big guy who's supposed to be the enforcer type, which Nash did a good job of in his Diesel days as HBK's bodyguard.
Then I've got X-Rated, which I just borrow ideas from any openly gay character or bizarre ones. Such as Billy/Chuck, Hard Gay, Goldust, Rico, and so on. I usually try to come up with my own looks for him, but I'll borrow some ideas from some real guys.
I take inspiration from a lot of stuff. lol Wrestlers, music, movies, tv shows, cartoons and anime... A lot of stuff. XD

Genesis - A cross or perhaps a combination of myself, Triple H, and Christian. Personality wise.
Terra - Attire and look was somewhat inspired by Daffney and Velvet Skye. With me 'tweaking' a few things as I went along with her creation.
Damien Ortiz - Tyson Tomko, Dru Nedermeyer, Batista
Jimmy Vain - Raven, Jeff Hardy, Sandman

I can tell you that I did make a Shawn Michaels inspired CAW way back when on No Mercy for the N64... Well more like a rip off. XD Brandy Young started out as a SUPER HBK Mark where she had a similar ring attire and the same move set. I think I even gave her the same ring entrance but I can't really remember. XD
And the brothers from the Asylum didn't start out with any wrestling inspiration. But with their current tag team incarnation I did try to give them a bit of a Legion of Doom theme.

MG- ME/Newark Gangmembers
Zack- Channing Tatum with a big fucking ego like past Kayne West and so many others. He thinks he's god. But the face is based on this guy I knew when I was in school in Delaware.
Micheal Ragen- Stevie Richards (RTC) but with real power.

Shelby Danes: Bryan Danielson, Sara Del Rey, Nattie Neidhart, Bret Hart, and an assortment of other Canadian Wrestlers, but mostly the Washington-native Bryan Danielson. XD; Surprisingly, her first attire resembled an old Nattie Neidhart attire with really no intention in doing so. It just happened, I thought it felt like fate.
Lindsey Snow: Her attire was based on an Yumi Fukawa attire, while her face was modeled after female snowboarder Alexis Waite. I stumbled upon Alexis' "First Hand" episode on FuelTV, and just felt the need to create a caw based on her. Hence "Snow" which literally refers to snow. =D; "Lindsey" just felt like a good name that sounded well with the word.
Eddy Introspect: The mask was inspired by the Introspective Emo Ranger in the web-series / UK MTV based "Mighty Moshin' Emo Rangers." The caw itself was created before I found out about the series. He had a silly mask with the "o.O" face originally, and I never really liked him until I adopted the Introspective Emo Ranger helmet design. I think I did Google search looking for references (as I usually do when I'm feeling an idea, but that idea just lacks a little something), and stumbled about the series, but I don't really remember.
Penny Lane: The whole idea sparked after I saw a Lorelai Lee match, she's more-or-less on the permanent lower-card in Shimmer: Women Athletes (I believe she's only had two or three victories throughout her current stint there, and she's been on the majority of the volumes) and her moveset is now heavily influenced by Stan Hansen. Ala, I gave her the Clothesline from Hell, and a lot more heavy striking moves.
MISAE: The name came from a character in the anime series "Clannad," the character is a dorm supervisor, and does wrestling moves to those that defy her, and make her angry. It's really funny. The design of the character was inspired by a CD cover which had Konata from the "Lucky Star" anime series on it (and the image was my desktop wallpaper at the time.) THE CONSTANT YELLING WAS JUST AN IDEA JAY JOKINGLY BROUGHT UP IN AN INSTANT MESSAGE THAT I DECIDED TO IMPLEMENT. THANK YOU JAY.
Kei Yukishiro: I watched a joshi match on YouTube which I believe involved Kei Akiyama, who I modeled her after (the account from which the match was on is now suspended, so I can't link to it. T-T) The attire is a direct rip-off, I would just be lying to myself if I denied it. I couldn't get the side designs perfectly, and when I finished, I thought they looked like "Y's" so I gave her a last name that started with "Y" and ta-da!
Jellyfish Girl: After Ed's Jellyfish Man, and an IM conversation.
The Kat (Litera): Me, in a modified Mickie James attire.
Megan Van Horn: Originally, she was going to be entirely based on Ashley Lane (or as most people probably know her, "Madison Rayne"), hence why her username at TNB is "One Winged Angel". But then I couldn't nail the attire I wanted to create, so I started looking elsewhere for sources, and stumbled upon a Shantelle Taylor (or as most people probably know her, "Taylor Wilde") fansite and stole the concept of one her TNA attires. Her theme music (and not the one I used for her match on my YouTube account) is actually Ashley Lane's theme in Shimmer. The whole "SUPER FAN" concept is just an idea I randomly came up with while I was taking a shower, and feeling like I was totally genius at the time, ran with it. It was only later, after I developed this, that I remembered Mickie James' and her awesome-she-should-have-never-dropped-it psycho-love gimmick.
Xaviera Spirit Evolution: Anime, and the whole "one half is optimistic while the other is pessimistic" idea. But in order to keep at least something similar to both of them (other then having the same face) I had to make them both loveless, so each had to have their own silly quirks which prevented them from finding boyfriends, ala Kaori's obsession with a fictional hero would surely turn anyone off, while Kaoru was too afraid, and too self-criticizing to ever find anyone outside of the internet. Ala, two aspects of myself set to the extreme. Very fun. XD
Addison Grey: Originally, her entire look was based on one of my high school friends, Victoria. But now, not so much. Her current attire is based on KANA, my current favorite joshi wrestler, while her face (in SVR08) was just an attempt at trying to nail Sila's style of face morphing. Since I really admire his face morphing, so I wanted to see if I can apply some of his technique to one of my faces. Now her face is just putting something I feel looks good together, and calling it nifty. The whole "mother" concept just sparked in a role-play with Cosette Grace that we just ran away with. Her mother attire I made earlier this year was inspired by Elizabeth Montgomery, and her role as Samantha on "Bewitched." Hence the music. The Godzilla thing was just a joke, but I do like it.
...and that's all I remember at the moment.
EDIT: Sh-, I didn't realize I wrote that much. XD;

^WOW! I thought Murda might of had one and it being the old school one I should have remembered because the current HBK attires I don't really like to be honest my favorites were his heartbreak kid tights he wore in the mid to late 90's. I expected Addy's to be a lot of people I don't really know of being as I don't know Indies or ROH that well and I have watched one anime and didn't like it. I guess on the HBK thing Lauren would have his heart as some of his matches when he loses he puts up the most amazing of fights before the comeback victory looks certain but those bookers trick us. Looks wise on 08 it was Layla Palmer which Addy made the face for me thank you. On 09 I made her face on PS2 Sila helped me a lot with her 360/PS3 face. Personality wise she takes inspiration from a lot of past girlfriends and my current one depending on heel or face lol. Sara took elements from MVP in early 09 with her attire and based on my girlfriends sister (she's really lanky) then her current attire I am not sure where the inspiration is from to be honest her personality I wanted to make as one of those rookies or people really that talks to much at least in TNB, here she might be a face I really don't know just yet. With kind of a shoot style to try and make her a little more unique I guess. Logan Steel in GCW I am not sure where the split persona idea actually came from outside of I RP'd it like Norman Osborne/Green Goblin in Spider-Man but if I could go back I wouldn't have gone this route because it kind of left me with no way to restart the character. Chelsea was 100% Eugene and I loved roleplaying her to see others reactions, and her naivity was something that think suckered people into a setup for something like The Bison did with his line "that hand print looks big like a dudes." to which Chelsea 'innocently' said "You have big hands" things like that made her so fun to roleplay Edit: Also Curious if the Brothers Pain will have the Shoulder pads for 2010...

CON: DDP. I've always wanted to make a DDP inspired CAW and it took until SvR09 for me to actually do it lol. If only we could get a decent Cutter now and not that lame RKO or Cutter move lol.
Ace: Started out as Paul London/Brian Kendrick(when they were a team on Smackdown) ripoff lol.
Other than those guys I can't think of too many wrestling influences I my characters lol. I kinda go with whatever I'm thinking at the moment lol. If there is an influence it's me and my friends lol.

Tomaso: The Rock's attitude & old school moves of Mr. Perfect XD
Ulrich Vinzenz: Andre the Giant/Sid Vicious in a way lol
Shiggles: Simple the Joker & Doink lmao
Deranged: Abyss/Kane/Mankind ... when he went unmasked for a whole week and tried to cleanse my company of the evil he was based of Mordecai XD

Short list of the usual Jagerllama suspects.... William James = Basically RP'd as me, if I were to join a 'real' fed... and was ripped and had purple hair. Shane Andrews = No one really, just came up with him. Val Venis attire, I guess. Francis Dupree = There is only one Dupree. Made him up as a joke at first, but ended up fighting good. Kevin Daniels = Kevin Nash for the most part, just a tad smaller. Rage = Kane (with tattoos), from moves to looks. Kenzo Yoshi = The Great Muta & Tajiri mixed together. The Machine = Earthquake, with a mask. Wanted a big, over-weight guy to break my usual mold. Adrian Kincade = Again, no one really, thought the looks just fit good. The Genius = A throwback to the great managers of the past. Wanted to create an old man, really. Darnell Jenkins = Booker T, sucka... again from moves to looks.

Im not going to say who my caws are because i want a clean slate. But they were all mainly inspired by Christian, Edge and a former ECW champion, though Adama is a completely new guy with no hard general base. Its the only way i feel i can make a character who isnt just another carbon copy of a guy ive seen which all my other caws have been XD
