Its been over 3 months now since Amy Angel had left the hospital. She arrived at her aunt Isabella's home. Having a place to call 'home' again was certainly nice. Though it will never permanently replace the real home she had years ago with her mother. This was the next best thing.
Nonetheless, Amy was gearing up & getting ready to tackle her next challenge. Finding a job.
Besides, if she was going to live with her aunt. She needed to pay her own way. No way Isabella was going to allow her niece to be a freeloader. It had been three months now since Amy moved in with her. She's had plenty of time to settle in and get her life straightened out to a point of which she could live a normal & subtle existence.
Fast Food restaurants were completely out of the question. No way in hell did Amy want to waste the next 10+ years of her life flipping burgers.
Growing up and throughout her high school days prior to her tragedy. She was quite the athlete. Played Volleyball, Soccer, and Basketball for her school. Plus was one of the top cheerleaders in her squad.
As she skimmed over the ads in the newspaper. She came across something that caught her attention.
CWE... Cyber Wrestling Entertainment.
Hmm... maybe. Just maybe. Not that I was a big wrestling fan or anything. But I watched the sport over the years. This could be fun. Besides, I always wanted to travel. This would be a good excuse to do just that.
Besides ! There isn't much out there. It's either this or Burger King .
So with this in mind. It was settled. Amy was going to try her hand at professional wrestling. Not exactly the ideal career she had in mind for herself. In the back of her mind. She chuckled, knowing that her mother might be rolling over in grave on the very thought of her daughter being a wrestler.
**24 Hrs. Later**
Amy checked herself in to a nearby wrestling school. Over a period of 30 days. She was going to try & cram in all the knowledge & skills she could learn here. The training was both brutal and tiresome. Amy never gave up however and kept on truckin'. If she was going to do this. She had to put in everything she had into wrestling. Its all or nothing.
**30 Days Later**
Amy left wrestling school. Her trainer, Riki Hashimoto felt she was ready. Amy learned the shoot fighting style of wrestling. An art that has gained tremendous popularity in the MMA world. In the wrestling world however. Shoot wrestlers were being replaced by wrestlers who do nothing but one high risk move after another just to make the crowd go 'ohhhhhh' & 'awwwww'.
Every wrestler needs a name. A name to represent what she stood for. A name that no one in the business would never forget.
Throughout her life. Before the tragic murder of her mother. She lived a spoiled, pampered life. Living a life of luxury and hanging out with her friends 24/7. Those days are long gone. Washed away with her memories. Some of which she's retained through psychiatric help. Others ? Seemingly lost forever.
Out of the tragedy. Since the only thing we can do in life is try our best to turn a negative into a positive. Amy became more appreciate of life. Learning to accept the situation for what it is. With the possibility of the killer's identity to never be revealed.
For in the ring. She wanted to deal out the same pain, heartache, and suffering onto her opponents. Terrorizing them to the point of submission.
From this perspective came her new in-ring persona:
Terra !?
Yeah... that has a nice ring to it.
Who knows... maybe someday I can make a positive impact on the business. Maybe become the best ever !?
If there's one thing I'm not afraid of is failure. I want to do the very best that I can with this. I don't want to let my mother down. I know she's looking down on me from heaven. I miss her... I just wish she could be here to hear the news.
Tears began to form as she wept slightly. Wiping the tears away from her eyes. She hoped into her car and made a B-line to CWE Headquarters. It was time to see if she has what it takes to land a job with the promotion.
END
