Alright I'm not even going to lie. I'm freaking out more than I thought humanly possible about going out there for the first time and reciting all those cliches about how it'll be fine once I'm there or it gets easier every time. Right now though I was worried I would sweat through my ring gear and my special free Jennifer Drew branded “Love Is the Movement” shirt.
It wasn't like I had a choice now. My theme was playing and they couldn't just let some mysterious song float through the arena for long. So, deep breath. And confident swagger here we go!
I did my best to maintain as I walked out to a completely dead crowd as a complete unknown but it was just brutal.
On the bright side the anger would make it easier to get into character.
I was completely offended that no one had any idea who I was and shot off smirks and sneers at anyone looking for an eyeful. I gave myself a beat then...
In case you're not already on the internet in your seats looking up what's going on, my name is Julia Wilde. And yeah, that's with a silent “E” because it's classy.
I said smiling and mouthing “That's right” immediately afterward.
I may have only been doing this post-Greco Roman Pro Grapplin' thing for a year but some of the best in the world know I've got it. I've been watching TV from all over and I knew there was only one “culturally relevant” place where I could really show the world what I'm capable of doing in the ring. So CWE decided to take me on.
A little appreciation for me not being dumb enough to trash the company I so desperately wanted to work for but I think people are starting to figure out I may well be a despicable human being. Yay me!
You've got a solid handful of girls and I came here to stand up top as their Queen of Scene by beating them all until it isn't funny any more and taking the top prize as CWE DIVA's champion. So, who wants me here tonight?
