The show fades in to see Osiris standing in the ring, with a mic in one hand and the King of the Ring crown in the other. A smile upon his face, he brings the mic up to the smile.
Osiris: So Brandon, how did that King of the Ring quest work out for you? Oh that's right, you didn't advance. As such, no matter how many times you try to convince others that you are, or more importantly no matter how many times you try to tell yourself, you will NEVER be the King of CWE! You will NEVER wear this crown that I hold in my hand! I told you that you had no idea what you were in for when you declared your intentions to win it, and that is exactly what happened. Now that veil that you so desperately clung to, the veil that the tournament would be your protection for not having to defend the World Championship, is now gone. You are what hunters would call "open season." But that's not quite accurate. Rather, you were on a boat, named the Society and it was carrying bars of gold. And that on that boat you had no worries about hitting anything at all, that you truly believed that it was unsinkable, that it was invincible. But then something happened. It hit a rock and much like the Titanic the ship started to sink. In the collision, you lost a bar of gold, never for it to return from the waters. And while you were fighting to keep you're boat afloat, a stray chair came and hit you in the face, making you bleed profusely. Try as you might, the ship was just going to continue going down, down, down into the abyss. You stayed with it to the very end, but once it was completely submerged you were floating on the water, all your gold lost and all you can do is hope for someone to come to your rescue. Only half of that happened, as the blood that was pouring out of your face brought sharks from miles away. And that is where we find ourselves today. The blood is in the water Brandon, and the sharks are coming. So you find yourself with only two options. Surrender to the sharks and hope that they give you a swift death. Or you can go with the other option, let the sharks do what they want with you and you try to fight it, only making it worse. And making it worse, the sharks will prolong your suffering, tearing you apart, piece by piece. And your end will come once they have tore out everything that keeps you alive and making sure that you are still conscious enough to witness the event, or you will drown in the sea of despair. Your time has come Brandon, and no matter what happens, your end is near.
On another note, now I have the chance to extend my reign for another year once my next opponent is declared, be it the two men I have beaten before in Briggz and Dupree, or be it the man who just recently got his CWE contract, Knight. Actually, it's quite funny, the two men I've already beaten are the same people that I faced in the last King of the Ring. I defeated Briggz and then I defeated Dupree in the next round. So now the question remains, will history repeat itself in the form of former challengers failing in their own quest, or will the new guy be added to the list of those that have fallen? Either way, things will prove to be very interesting.
