After years of living abroad overseas, and feeling quite homesick, the other half of the once up and coming "Fifteen Minutes of Fame" team has decided now would be as good a time as any to see family and the states.
Landing in Los Angeles and hoping to surprise his mother, he hails a cab and in no time pulls up in front of his mother's home.
Going to the door, he knocks...
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
"Who is it?"
A familiar voice asks a minute after the knocks.
"Pizza delivery, ma'am."
He said disguising his voice.
"Pizza? I didn't order any pizza, you must have the wrong place I'm afraid."
Helena said, while opening the door. Her eyes lit up, as she saw it was actually...
"JUSTIN!"
She yelled, pulling her son in for a big hug.
"What a surprise! What are you doing here?...I mean; why didn't you call me? I would have met you at the airport."
"Aw, mom. I didn't want to worry you with all of that. Besides, I'm a big boy now, I know how to get back home."
He said in a playful tone, making his way into the house. A few hours have gone by now, and he and his mother have been in the kitchen talking for hours. They were reminiscing about Justin's sometimes awkward grammar school years, when Helena finally says it...
"So have you spoken with Brandon, honey?"
Silence...
Way to ruin the moment mom...
Justin said to himself.
"No. Me and Brandon haven't spoken in a while mom."
"Sweetheart...It's been almost four years....Don't you think that's more than enough time to bury the hatchet?"
Justin listened, mouth clinched in thinking of his brother.
"You know that Brandon is down in Atlanta now, right? He called me the other night asking me to come out and visit him for a show. Of course, you know that I had to refuse. After what happened to your father, I couldn't bare to watch either of you two getting hurt."
"Yeah mom, I know....He should've known better to ask you that too. But you know him, always "Me. Me. Me." And yeah, I saw a video of his promotions over on Youtube...Nothing special, really."
Helena looked at him, shaking her head with a disapproving look on her face.
"I didn't want to worry you mom, but I've returned to the states for more than just catching up on old times....I came back to wrestle myself...I've signed in principal with this newly reopened federation called, CWE. It's out in Seattle, and I'm scheduled to head out there later this week....Sorry to bring this up now, but it seemed as good a time as any...."
Rubbing the back of her neck, Helena looks back up at Justin and asks him...
"Are you doing this for you, or for Brandon?"
Wincing at what he perceived to be his mother assuming that he was doing this to compete against his brother, he answers her, saying...
"Mom...Come on. I've grown a lot since then. I'm doing this for me this time. That's the reason why I've decided to start over in the CWE. I'm going to make a name for myself without anyone's help, and it's nothing personal against him."
Helena knew her sons. Justin may be doing this to prove something to himself, but he's definitely doing this to prove something to Brandon as well. Deciding it best to drop the subject, Helena asks Justin...
"So...Are you still going by the "The Ladies Man"?"
"Heh...Nah. With the training I've been doing overseas, I've since adopted a new nickname..."The Hitman"
CWE doesn't know what's in store for them."
