So I have both a 360 and PS3, and I know people are on the PSN, but I am wondering if it is worth setting up one since I tend to buy games for the 360 and just exclusives like MGS4 and Uncharted for PS3. Those tend to be one player games and not sure if they have online features or not, but I probably wouldn't use them. Most Multi player games come out for both consoles which as I said means I go with 360.
I mean with SVR 2010 I know more people with it on PS3, but I value 64 layers and I am not much of a CAW collector having only really ever asked for 3 that I can think of in about 10 years of games with a CAW mode.
Also I know PS3's is free but overall my local friends mostly just have 360's so for things like Modern Warfare 2 I get so I can play online with them.
Maybe there is a kickass feature on the PSN that I am missing out on?

I say go for it. It's free to set one up, so it's not like you'll lose money over it. Just to let you know, both MSG4 and Uncharted have online multiplayer.
Anyway, this is under the assumption that you do not have the game already, since that is what I gathered reading this. My advice as far as getting 2010, go with whatever you want. Pros and cons to each, as you've already noted, so it's not like anyone else will come along and convince you.
As far as missing out on PS3 stuff, not really. Besides PSN being free, they are pretty much the same as far as free demos, buy certain games, DLC, etc. Though PS3 does have Home which has improved vastly over the last few months. Not sure if the 360 has anything like that, so I can't say if Home would be better.

I say get it. Just like Osiris said before there is always the Downloadable stuff. (I.E. DLC, PSOne classic games, ect.) Again like Osiris mentioned before about MG4 having Metal Gear Online packaged with the main game and Uncharted 2's online multiplayer. There are also Killzone 2 and Resistance 1 & 2. That and next year there is this Online Shooter called MAG coming out exclusively for the PS3 only there isn't a set release date for anywhere outside the US.

I really should point out that the only FPS I like are Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and MW2 and Left 4 Dead. Those are the only two that got me into the genre of game. Most of the others I played I just didn't like mostly because they are stuck in WWII stories *snores* and I really have had my fill of that particular war. Killzone I never played but I know it's an FPS so I am doubting I'll buy that. Tekken 6 I played recently and I can't stand it. SVR2010 I got for 360 I was going to get for PS3 also but having played the game I don't really see the point of owning it on two consoles given the possible reason of transfering CAWs for feds is not really since I am not partaking in any PS3 or 360 feds, or downloading CAWs which I have never really collected CAWs.
I do have UFC for PS3, Resident Evil 5 and SF4, and I'll be picking up Uncharted 2 next week most likely so I'll probably try it out then.

well there you go, you just mentioned three more games that all have online modes. XD
And I completely agree about how most Shooters have followed the same path for years. It tends to make the whole genre a bit dull after awhile. But the Modern Warfare games and L4D 1-2 and others have tried bring the fans back around to think "OH LOOK A NEW FPS" instead of "Oh... Look a new FPS... *yawn*"

I plan to get a PS3 around XMas time so lol. Starting out, I'll prolly only have 2-3 games to mess around with. But I do plan to get on PSN shortly thereafter. For me honestly, I'm mainly going to be picking up fighting games & 'exclusive' PS3 titles (which are honestly are a mere handful from what I can tell). Other then that though, maybe a few 3rd party games for it that have some type of 'exclusive' to it. Like with Batman: Arkham Asylum & the ability to play as The Joker for the Challenge Modes. Which after I found that out. Made me wish I didn't pick it up for 360 and I should've waited til later lol. But oh well, LOL. Enough of my rambling *On Topic* I totally get your point, Jay. In all honesty, a vast majority of the games I have are on 360 and, that will probably remain the case well after I have PS3. Not that I won't be playing the system anymore then the other. But I find that from what I can tell. A majority of my friends (no pun intended) are on the 360 and therefore, I have a better chance of playing online against those ppl then I do with the small handful that I know of on the PS3. Speaking of which, how 'great' is Infamous ? That's the main game I'm looking to pick up for the PS3. Aside from maybe God of War: Collection.
